Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to careerclaritylabs.com (the "Site") and the career strategy and coaching services (the "Services") provided by Sankalp Madhekar, operating as Career Clarity Labs ("Career Clarity Labs", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully. By booking a call, making a payment, or otherwise engaging the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

1. Who we are

Career Clarity Labs is a career strategy and coaching practice. You can reach us at hello@careerclaritylabs.com. Career Clarity Labs is currently operated as a sole proprietorship by Sankalp Madhekar.

2. The Services

We provide premium, one-to-one career strategy and coaching. A standard engagement includes research-validated assessment instruments, a senior-level synthesis of your profile, a Definitive Recommendation, a 12-month execution blueprint, and accountability check-ins at 20, 40, and 60 days. We do not provide administrative services such as resume writing or submitting applications on your behalf. We may update the format or components of the Services from time to time.

3. Eligibility and minors

The Services are intended for adults. Where an engagement concerns a minor (for example, a high-school student), the Services must be arranged, contracted, and paid for by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf and provides consent for the minor's participation. The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. 4. Fees and payment

Our program fee is a flat $2,999, inclusive of all coaching time and materials, with no hidden fees or hourly billing. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, fees are payable in full before the assessment phase begins. If you make a payment, it is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.

5. Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling

Because a substantial amount of senior practitioner time and preparation is invested in your engagement before we meet, the following applies:

• Before the assessment phase begins: you may cancel for a full refund of any amount paid.
• Once the assessment phase has begun: fees are non-refundable, as preparation and senior-level work have already been performed on your behalf.
• Rescheduling: please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a session.
• No-shows: repeated no-shows or late cancellations without sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of that session.

6. Client responsibilities

Our synthesis is only as accurate as the information you provide. You agree to complete all assessments honestly, unassisted, and within the agreed timeframes. Where the client is a student, the parent or guardian agrees to let the student complete the assessments independently so the data is not influenced by others.

7. Nature of the Services; important disclaimers

The Services are strategic and consultative career coaching and education. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, mental-health, therapeutic, financial, investment, or legal services, and we are not licensed to provide any of those. Engaging the Services does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship.

Any use of the words "diagnosis," "diagnostic," or similar terms in our materials refers solely to structured career and educational assessment. It does not mean, and should not be understood as, clinical, psychological, or medical diagnosis, evaluation, or treatment. Our assessment instruments are career and educational tools, some of which are adapted from publicly available frameworks; they are not clinical or diagnostic instruments. If you have health, mental-health, financial, or legal concerns, please consult an appropriately licensed professional. If you may be experiencing a crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

We provide expert strategic guidance to support your own decisions. We do not guarantee any specific external outcome, including but not limited to university admission, job offers, salary increases, promotions, or business success. All decisions you make, and the results of those decisions, are your own responsibility.

9. Testimonials and results

Any testimonials, examples, or outcomes described on the Site are illustrative and reflect the experiences of specific individuals. They are not a promise or guarantee that you will achieve similar results, and results vary from person to person based on circumstances, effort, and many factors outside our control.

10. Intellectual property

Our proprietary methodology, synthesis process, frameworks, and Site materials remain the exclusive property of Career Clarity Labs or its licensors. We do not claim ownership of any third-party or publicly available instruments that may inform our work. The personalized deliverables we prepare for you (such as your report and blueprint) are licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use and may not be resold, published, or redistributed without our written permission.

11. Third-party services

The Site and Services rely on third-party providers, such as scheduling, form-delivery, analytics, hosting, and (where applicable) payment providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Confidentiality

We treat your career ambitions, challenges, and assessment results with discretion. We will not disclose your identity or the details of our sessions to external parties without your permission, except as required by law or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to you or others.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Career Clarity Labs and Sankalp Madhekar arising out of or relating to the Site or Services is limited to the total fees you have paid us for the Services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or opportunities, arising from your career or educational decisions or your use of the Site or Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Career Clarity Labs and Sankalp Madhekar from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or Services, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing law, venue, and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at hello@careerclaritylabs.com and give us 30 days to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue, and you consent to that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you a right you cannot waive.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our practice grows or as laws change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of our business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and Services. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically.
