This Privacy Policy explains how Sankalp Madhekar, operating as Career Clarity Labs ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use careerclaritylabs.com (the "Site") and our coaching services (the "Services"). We believe in transparency, and that extends to how we handle your data.

1. Information we collect

To deliver our synthesis and coaching, we collect:

• Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, and any context you share on our contact form, during calls, or throughout the program.
• Assessment responses: the answers you (or, with parental consent, your child) provide when completing our assessment instruments. This is the foundation of our synthesis.
• Booking and payment details: the scheduling information you provide through our scheduling provider, and, if you make a payment, billing details handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage data: limited, privacy-preserving analytics such as page views and general device or browser type, used to keep the Site working well. We do not build advertising profiles.

2. How we use your information

We use your information strictly to:

• Deliver, personalize, and refine the Services.
• Prepare your Definitive Recommendation and 12-month blueprint from your assessment responses.
• Schedule sessions, process any payments, and send accountability check-ins.
• Respond to your inquiries and meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations.

3. We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Service providers we use

We operate with a lean, privacy-conscious set of providers, and share your information only as needed to run the Services. Our current providers include a scheduling platform (Cal.com) for booking calls, a form-delivery service (Formspree) for contact-form messages, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Umami) for site statistics, and cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services). Where you make a payment, it is handled by a third-party payment processor. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our analytics are cookieless and do not track you across other websites or build an advertising profile of you. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Because we do not perform cross-site tracking, there is no additional "Do Not Track" action needed for our analytics; any essential functionality provided by our third-party features is subject to those providers' own practices.

6. Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, deliver your final materials, and meet legal or tax requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete your information sooner, as described below.

7. Students and minors

Where the Services involve a high-school student, all assessments and sessions are arranged with the explicit involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who provides and controls the engagement. We do not market to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. We collect only what is needed for the student's assessment and coaching. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to ask us not to sell or share it (we do not sell or share it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at hello@careerclaritylabs.com, and we will verify and respond as required by applicable law. If you are in a region with additional rights (such as the EEA or UK), you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

9. International data transfers

We are based in India, and our providers may process data in India, the United States, and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

10. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your assessment responses and personal details from unauthorized access. The Site is served over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practice grows or as laws change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
